Moving!

I know I haven't kept up to date with the blog, and I apologize. I hope to get better with that after our move. We are set to move back to Kentucky while Jason goes to Afghanistan for deployment. It's a stressful time for us all but we will be close to family and friends and that will be a huge help.
I have packed away my machines and supplies and boy, do I feel strange not having sewing to do!! Luckily the house we found has a large "extra" room. If you're a crafter or a sewer then you know what that extra room will become! I'm really excited to have my own space and it's open to the main area of the house so I will be able to work while the kids play peacefully...one can dream, right?
As soon as we are settled I plan to continue with the theme stockings at Sympatico and occasionally stock some gift items in my store. I am loving the theme ideas because it really inspires me to find new fabrics and designs and create something fun! I'm hoping to be able to stock at least a few things in August for the Rainbow theme! Rainbows have been a favorite of Natalie's for a long time so I will use her for some inspiration.
I'm also going to start working on Christmas gifts as I go too or I will never get anything finished in time!!
Ok the natives are getting restless here so off to find some frozen waffles or pop-tarts to quiet the house down again!

St. Patty's Day!

Happy St Patty's Day! I hope you're having a lucky day.
Just wanted to share some projects I've been working on lately.
This dishtowel is for my mother. I'm making her a kitchen care package and wanted to add in some special things and this is the first.

These next items are for a gift for a girl named Danica. I love the monogram design for the bib. The colors are super bright and great for spring and summer. I did notice that after I ironed it my iron had left spots to the left of the design so I need to wash them out before sending it out. That's why avoid ironing! ha ha!! I created the design for the tank, it was my first time and the stitching isn't quite dense enough because the darker fabric shows through. But I think it's still pretty cute!

This is part of my new line of summer sets that I am working on. I LOVE this design. My only gripe is that I wish I had done the writing in white or a lighter color. I followed the designs recommendations and it's just too dark. I will make some gingham capris or shorts to match. Thanks for looking and feel free to leave comments or opinions!!

First Post!

This is my first posting to the new blog. I will be able to keep track of projects I'm working on and preview new items here. I will also keep updates on custom projects here as well. I hope you will enjoy this journey with me!
